Team Rehabilitation is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics operating across multiple states.

Compensation: $19 - $21 / hour
Responsibilities
Team Rehabilitation is in search of a friendly and dynamic individual to serve as the crucial first point of contact within our clinic. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy towards patient conditions and possess a willingness to assist, accommodate, and support patients in their therapy journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients warmly, verify appointments, and assist with necessary paperwork.
- Ensure seamless communication with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff involved in patient care, including follow-ups as needed.
- Manage complex scheduling while ensuring patients receive the appropriate number of visits, coordinating with therapists and staff as necessary.
- Assist patients with insurance inquiries, verifying and explaining benefits, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical and billing system, following up for additional information when required.
- Collect copayments and process transactions in a timely and professional manner, issuing receipts and handling billing tasks.
- Input data from in-house research accurately, as this information is vital for assessing clinic performance.
- Support clinic operations by preparing management information and maintaining clinic supplies and equipment.
- Uphold patient privacy and adhere to confidentiality policies.
Additional Duties:
The Patient Administrative Coordinator must excel in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while managing daily reports and tasks. This role reports to the clinic director and may involve additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a patient-centered healthcare role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Background in customer service positions is also beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.
