The Commonwealth of Virginia's Division of Nephrology at the University of Virginia is seeking a full-time academic Nephrologist to join our nephrology team. This is an open rank, tenure-eligible Clinical Educator position with rank and tenure status determined by the candidate's qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to kidney patients on the inpatient and outpatient Nephrology setting.
  • Actively participate in the in-patient teaching program with Nephrology fellows, medical house staff, and medical students.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for medical students and residents.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for Nephrology care.

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology by appointment start date.
  • Outstanding clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Training from top-rated institutions.
