Position Overview:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Assistant Professor within the Division of Rheumatology, part of the Department of Medicine. This position is aligned with the Clinical Faculty track.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected individuals will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to patients suffering from rheumatic conditions. Additionally, they will engage in the education and clinical training of rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates must possess an M.D. degree, hold board certification in Internal Medicine, and be ABIM board-eligible or certified in Rheumatology by the time of appointment.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a strong dedication to medical education. Interest in research, quality improvement, and health equity will be considered advantageous. Opportunities for involvement in funded research and scholarly activities may also be available.
