The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Clinical Trials Coordinator within their esteemed healthcare division. This position is open for both Licensed and Non-Licensed candidates across various experience levels.

Position Title: Clinical Trials Coordinator

Organization: Commonwealth of Virginia

The Clinical Trials Coordinator will be instrumental in overseeing all facets of clinical trials, ensuring seamless operations from the initiation of a study to the finalization of study documentation. This role necessitates close collaboration with healthcare professionals, the Clinical Trials Manager, and study participants, demanding exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing regulatory submissions and assessing protocols for feasibility.
  • Recruiting, screening, and enrolling participants who meet the criteria for research.
  • Gathering study data through interviews, monitoring participants, and developing study materials.
  • Processing, preparing, and dispatching laboratory specimens.

Minimum Qualifications:

Clinical Trials Coordinator 1, Non-Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Some experience in healthcare is preferred.
Experience: None. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 1, Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Must be Licensed to Practice in a Clinical Profession.
Experience: None.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 2, Non-Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. A minimum of one year of clinical research experience is required.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 2, Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Must be Licensed to Practice in a Clinical Profession.
Experience: At least one year of clinical research experience.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 3, Non-Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Minimum of three years of clinical research experience is required.
Licensure: Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) preferred.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 3, Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Must be Licensed to Practice in a Clinical Profession.
Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical research experience.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 4, Non-Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. At least seven years of clinical research experience is required.
Licensure: Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) required.

Clinical Trials Coordinator 4, Licensed
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Must be Licensed to Practice in a Clinical Profession.
Experience: At least seven years of clinical research experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with regulatory processes is a plus.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple clinical research projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data management systems.

Physical Requirements:

This position primarily involves office work, with occasional travel required for meetings and programs.
