The Commonwealth of Virginia's Division of Nephrology is seeking a full-time Transplant Nephrologist to join our renal team. This is an open rank, tenure ineligible, position. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing pre and post kidney transplant care to patients on the inpatient and outpatient services. The candidate will actively participate in the in-patient teaching program with Nephrology fellows, medical house staff and medical students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre and post kidney transplant care to patients
- Participate in in-patient teaching program with Nephrology fellows, medical house staff and medical students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent degree
- Sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology
- Outstanding clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills
