Job Summary:

The Commonwealth of Virginia's Division of Nephrology is seeking a highly skilled Transplant Nephrologist to join our team of renal care specialists in Charlottesville, Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pre and post kidney transplant care to patients on our inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pre and post kidney transplant care to patients, including medical evaluation, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
  • Participate in the in-patient teaching program, mentoring nephrology fellows, medical house staff, and medical students
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nephrology and transplant medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology
  • Excellent clinical, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Training from top-rated institutions
