Property Accountability Specialist

Data Intelligence, LLC is seeking a dedicated Property Accountability Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the meticulous management of all accountable personal property throughout its entire life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee property transactions and maintain comprehensive records within the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) to support property acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, providing a clear audit trail for all accountable personal property in the CISA Property System of Record.
  • Collaborate with acquisition teams and Local Property Officers (LPO) to validate procurement documentation and establish accountability for received personal property.
  • Identify and report idle property in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Secure and segregate unassigned property in designated staging/storage areas pending re-issue or disposal.
  • Conduct semi-annual property inventories across various locations with assistance from LPOs.
  • Perform periodic physical inventories and respond to ad hoc inventory requests.
  • Initiate and process Reports of Survey to document incidents of loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
  • Serve as a technical advisor, providing expertise to staff.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials for employees regarding their responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the formulation and maintenance of policies, processes, and controls that support organizational activities.
  • Handle the lifting and movement of property, including the ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
  • Conduct program reviews to ensure data quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc reports, including Monthly Inventory and Property Transfer Reports.

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree is required.
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.
