ROLE OVERVIEW

:

Support the property management team in the financial and operational oversight of designated properties, including event venues and retail spaces. Manage tenant interactions, property operations, inspections, event planning, construction oversight, and contract management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and foster robust tenant relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants, and team members.
  • Conduct thorough property inspections.
  • Assist in the coordination of events.
  • Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Solicit bids and supervise service contracts, capital projects, and tenant construction initiatives.
  • Oversee rent collection processes and manage accounts receivable reporting.
  • Facilitate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Maintain precise lease, property, and vendor documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience in commercial and retail property operations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of office and retail lease agreements and the lease administration process.
  • Proven knowledge of building mechanical systems and construction management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in decision-making.
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to teamwork and professional development.
  • Strong coaching, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good listening skills, patience, and empathy.
  • Ability to generate detailed financial reports.
  • Proficient in utilizing real estate and construction software packages.
  • Competence in MS Word and Excel, with familiarity in accounting software.
  • Certification as a Property Manager or Real Property Administrator designation or candidacy is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee must be able to navigate throughout the property, including moving up and down stairs, and may need to sit for up to 50% of the workday.

Property inspections may necessitate any of the physical requirements indicated above.
