Lease Management Specialist

As a Lease Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing tenant charges, maintaining the accuracy of lease information, and tracking essential lease timelines. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and establish new lease entries in the MRI system.
2. Manage tenant onboarding and departures within the MRI platform.
3. Document and oversee all Base Rents, Common Area Maintenance (CAM) fees, Real Estate Tax projections, Insurance estimates, Utility expenses, Consumer Price Index (CPI) Rent, and Percentage Rent charges for commercial clients.
4. Update lease information, including billing contacts and recurring charges.
5. Continuously verify system data for precision, including rent roll validation and square footage assessments.
6. Record and monitor gross sales figures.
7. Ensure that monthly rental updates are thoroughly reviewed and approved.
8. Calculate and assess annual operating expense and real estate tax reconciliations.
9. Determine annual CAM, property tax, and insurance recoveries, along with quarterly CAM accruals and yearly estimates.
10. Assist in gathering and consolidating CAM supporting documents.
11. Coordinate tenant audits of billed CAM reconciliations.
12. Collaborate with Tenants, Property Managers, Accountants, Accounts Receivable Clerks, and Asset Managers regarding lease administration.
13. Support additional departmental functions as needed.
14. Ensure the integrity of data within the database application used for tracking all tenant and lease-related information.
15. Work closely with Accountants and Property Managers to prepare annual budgets.
16. Resolve discrepancies in lease interpretations between tenants and landlords.
17. Develop and maintain comprehensive files for all leases.
18. Assist on-site personnel in interpreting lease language concerning operational matters.

Job Experience Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease administration or accounting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MRI or similar accounting systems is required.
- Familiarity with Kardin is preferred.
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate is advantageous.
