Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property transactions, ensuring accurate and official records are maintained within the Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS) for acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
  • Maintain thorough and precise records, providing a clear audit trail for all accountable personal property.
  • Collaborate with acquisition teams and Local Property Officers (LPO) to verify procurement documentation and establish accountability for received personal property.
  • Identify and report idle assets in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Secure and segregate unassigned property in designated staging areas pending further action.
  • Conduct semi-annual inventories across various locations with the assistance of LPOs.
  • Perform periodic physical checks of accountable property and respond to ad hoc inventory requests.
  • Initiate and process Reports of Survey to document incidents involving loss, damage, or theft of property.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to staff regarding property management.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials for employees on their responsibilities.
  • Support the formulation and upkeep of policies, processes, and controls related to property management.
  • Ability to lift and move property, including items weighing up to 35 pounds unassisted.
  • Conduct program reviews to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit regular and ad-hoc reports, including:
    • Monthly Inventory Reports
    • Monthly Property Transfer Reports
  • Facilitate the collection, consolidation, and preparation of personal property for storage or disposal.

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience.
