Position Summary

The Property Renovation Specialist is tasked with executing a variety of maintenance activities essential for preserving and enhancing the community's value. This role collaborates closely with the maintenance team and management to guarantee that the quality of work aligns with the standards set forth by the ownership and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address all assigned maintenance service requests promptly.
  • Execute tasks related to electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
  • Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems as necessary.
  • Repair and treat structures, including showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct minor pool maintenance activities.
  • Assist in overseeing work performed by external contractors.
  • Monitor and maintain all assigned building systems.
  • Support grounds maintenance, including trash collection, sidewalk sweeping, and light landscaping.
  • Prepare units for new residents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices in accordance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Adhere to Bridge policies and procedures, including Fair Housing regulations.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Participate in special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Availability for emergency repairs at all times (24/7).
  • Capability to climb heights of up to 40 feet.
  • Color vision and auditory ability are required.

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
