Simulation Operations Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Simulation Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to oversee the daily management of educational simulation events. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of simulation activities through effective coordination and monitoring of technology, equipment, and supplies.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. A/V Technology:
    Possess a comprehensive understanding of various audiovisual hardware and software. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for audiovisual systems, ensuring safe and effective operation.
  2. Educational Support:
    Maintain awareness of educational principles and best practices. Assist faculty and staff in utilizing instructional media and equipment, offering orientation for learners and stakeholders.
  3. IT Equipment Management:
    Set up and maintain IT equipment, ensuring connectivity for statewide simulation activities. Conduct inspections and provide troubleshooting support for IT-related issues.
  4. Simulation Operations:
    Assist in planning and executing statewide simulation services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain organized records and documentation to support simulation program operations.
  5. Simulation Technology:
    Manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of simulators and other simulation equipment. Collaborate with vendors to meet current and future technology needs.
  6. Additional Duties:
    Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall mission of the educational simulation program.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and have a minimum of three years of experience in simulation, healthcare, technology, or education. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently are essential.


Skills Required:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Work Environment:
