Simulation Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Simulation Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in assisting the Director of Operations in managing the daily activities related to educational simulation events. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of simulation activities, including the management of technology, equipment, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

A/V Technology:
- Exhibit proficiency in various audiovisual hardware and software.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for audiovisual systems.
- Set up, operate, and maintain audiovisual equipment safely and effectively.

Educational Support:
- Maintain a solid understanding of educational principles and best practices.
- Assist in the use of instructional media and equipment for simulation stakeholders.
- Conduct pre-briefings and orientations for learners and faculty.

IT Equipment Management:
- Set up and manage IT equipment for simulation activities.
- Ensure connectivity between regional sites for statewide simulation events.
- Monitor and report on the condition of IT equipment.

Simulation Operations:
- Assist in planning and executing statewide simulation activities.
- Maintain inventory and security of consumables and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in preparation areas.

Simulation Technology:
- Set up and maintain simulators and other simulation equipment.
- Provide troubleshooting support for both in-person and remote simulation technologies.
- Collaborate with vendors to meet current and future simulation technology needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in simulation, healthcare, or technology.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Skills:

- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Working Conditions:

- Days/M-F with potential for extended hours as needed.
