Simulation Operations Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Simulation Operations Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Director of Operations to oversee the daily management of educational simulation events. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless coordination, administration, and supervision of technology, equipment, and resources necessary for simulation activities.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. A/V Technology:
    Possess a solid understanding of various audiovisual hardware and software. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for the audiovisual systems. Set up, operate, and properly store audiovisual equipment, ensuring safe and effective usage.
  2. Educational Support:
    Maintain knowledge of educational principles and best practices. Assist stakeholders in utilizing instructional media and equipment effectively. Conduct pre-briefings and orientations for learners and faculty.
  3. IT Equipment Management:
    Set up and manage IT equipment, ensuring connectivity for statewide simulation activities. Conduct inspections and provide support for IT-related equipment, safeguarding the privacy and security of simulation data.
  4. Simulation Operations:
    Assist in planning and executing statewide simulation services in alignment with organizational goals. Ensure proper stock control and maintain cleanliness and safety in preparation areas.
  5. Simulation Technology:
    Set up, maintain, and repair simulation equipment. Provide support for both in-person and remote simulation technologies, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
  6. Other Duties:
    Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of three years of experience in simulation, healthcare, technology, or education is required.


Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Work Environment:

This position may require working outside of standard business hours. The salary range is competitive and commensurate with experience.
