Role Overview: The Regional Sales Executive will be responsible for overseeing sales activities in the Africa and Middle East regions. This role involves driving sales initiatives, collaborating with engineering and business development teams, and executing strategies to close deals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate the sales pipeline by efficiently managing leads and driving them towards closure.
  • Represent Astranis at customer meetings, conferences, and public events, confidently presenting technical materials and championing our innovative products.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities, focusing on the most promising prospects.
  • Engage in negotiations with client representatives at all levels to create value for both parties while fostering long-term relationships.
  • Translate business and technical requirements to develop solutions that meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, particularly Engineering, to propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, navigating complex corporate structures to connect with decision-makers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for the executive team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the satellite industry.
  • 7+ years in a customer-facing sales role with a proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of satellite communications and payload design.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel as required, up to 30% of the time.
  • Motivated to achieve sales targets within tight timelines.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required.

Bonus Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of digital network communications and RF signal theory.
  • Familiarity with market segments served by satellite data communications.
  • Experience in financial modeling.
  • Multilingual capabilities.
