Business Systems Operations Manager

POSITION DETAILS

Location: Remote/Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive salary up to $120,000 plus performance bonuses

Eligibility: Open to candidates legally permitted to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.

GTN Technical Staffing and Consulting is seeking a skilled Business Systems Operations Manager to oversee the deployment of Epicor Kinetic and manage the support of Infrastructure and Network systems. This role is ideal for individuals aspiring to step into a leadership position within a dynamic and expanding organization.

Role Overview: The Business Systems Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic direction, management, and vision to ensure the successful implementation and operation of both structured and unstructured information systems, with a primary focus on Epicor Kinetic ERP and Epicor ECM (formerly known as DocStar) Document Management. This position plays a crucial role in aligning organizational processes with data and systems to enhance growth and operational efficiency. The perfect candidate will exhibit a collaborative, innovative, and proactive approach, in alignment with the company’s mission and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration, configuration, and management of primary Business Information Systems, including Epicor Kinetic ERP and Epicor ECM (DocStar) Document Management, to promote departmental efficiency and enhancements.
  • Ensure timely updates and maintenance of software platforms (excluding operating systems or Office365).
  • Supervise third-party IT service providers for hardware, operating system, database, and network support.
  • Work closely with department leaders to optimize system utilization for improved efficiency in line with organizational objectives.
  • Lead future system rollouts and/or new module implementations across various divisions and departments.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and management.
  • Manage software environments including, but not limited to: Epicor Kinetic ERP, Epicor ECM (DocStar), SolidEdge, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, BobCAD, BendSIM, QuickBooks, and Sage 50.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on application development and business processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP and Document Management Systems, particularly Epicor products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
