Role Overview:

The Senior Analyst for Business Solutions will collaborate with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, design business processes, develop use cases, conduct testing, and provide post-production support for enterprise-wide business applications. A solid understanding of business process workflows and the IT development lifecycle is essential. This role may involve limited project management duties, including coordinating project planning, estimating resources, software development, status reporting, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify business functional and reporting needs by engaging with subject matter experts (SMEs) through various interviewing and facilitation methods.
  • Apply established requirements gathering and analysis standards to create business analysis deliverables.
  • Generate and maintain project documentation, including entity model diagrams, detailed specifications, and project timelines.
  • Confirm design concepts with users by demonstrating proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical architecture team on intricate application implementations.
  • Provide Business System expertise to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop comprehensive business cases.
  • Engage in project lifecycle management utilizing PMI's project management framework.
  • Establish, implement, and uphold standards and methodologies that ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy in project design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Conduct unit and systems testing.
  • Organize and participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Oversee system support to identify, provide technical guidance, track, and resolve system issues in collaboration with users, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a business environment focused on analysis, systems design, and project management for medium to large application development projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with system integrations and data modeling is preferred.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
