Application Support Analyst

Location: Cleveland, OH

POSITION SUMMARY: The Application Support Analyst is accountable for providing advanced support for business applications utilized by the Accounting Division. This role will work in close partnership with the Application Support Manager to ensure the smooth operation of systems essential to the business unit, while also assisting users with daily operational support, system utilization, and the development and upkeep of reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and sustain business-critical systems employed by the Accounting Division, including Dynamics Great Plains, Profit Power, and other vital application platforms.
  • Oversee software updates and patches for business applications, which includes testing, distribution of software enhancements, release documentation, training resources, and communication regarding rollouts to business and IT teams.
  • Engage with external vendors, third-party resources, and other IT departments to support project initiatives and operational tasks related to business systems.
  • Manage the resolution of all second-level support inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline, or 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience in accounting or real estate is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years in second-level software support.
  • Proficiency in creating SSRS and PowerBI reports.
  • Familiarity with SSAS data cubes.
  • Experience with SSIS packages.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of effectively engaging with non-technical business leaders and teams.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, demonstrating focus and poise.
  • Effective prioritization and project management capabilities.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
