Job Overview

As a Project Manager focused on Managed Service Provider (MSP) transition initiatives, you will collaborate closely with the Transition Manager, MSP Transition Leader, and advisory services team to guarantee the effective delivery of the transition project from one MSP to another.


Your main responsibility will be to partner with the MSP Transition Leader to oversee the overall organization, planning, and implementation of the project. This involves working intimately with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition without any degradation of service, while also supporting the Transition Manager in preparing and ensuring the new MSP is ready to meet contractual commitments.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related discipline. Proven track record as a Project Manager, especially in overseeing IT transitions or comparable projects.
  • Robust project management capabilities with expertise in project management software. Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Transition Manager and diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and industry best practices.

Experience & Skills:
  • Over 5 years of experience in project management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with managed service providers.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and strategic planning.
  • 5+ years of experience in formal team leadership and managing transformation & transition programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
  • Certification in ITIL V4 or V3.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to informally lead project teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities and strategic thinking on a global scale.
  • Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels, including written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Positive customer service orientation with a proven ability to manage high-pressure support situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Ability to present confidently, influence stakeholders, and mentor remote teams while respecting diverse perspectives.
  • Strong technical background enabling the review of project requirements, technical specifications, and action plans, translating these into process requirements and execution.
  • Experience working with diverse, global, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams.
  • Capability to set and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Adept at conducting research related to product and service issues.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working both independently and in a collaborative setting.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management methodologies and techniques.
