Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for leading the sales force within a specified area to meet sales objectives. This role involves the recruitment, training, and supervision of Specialty Sales Representatives. The RSD will also engage in various initiatives related to product strategy, marketing, data analysis, and other designated projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the established Call Plan by sales representatives.
  • Identify and recruit skilled candidates to build a complete team.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and provide ongoing training to team members.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies while holding representatives accountable for their performance.
  • Optimize territory effectiveness and address customer requirements.
  • Guide and mentor teams to surpass sales targets.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • At least 3 years of experience in field sales management.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer skills and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • A valid US Driver's license is required.
