Position Title: SC Scholarship (ABC) Specialist
Employment Type: Full Time / $18.84 Hourly + up to $15,000 Performance Incentive

Supervision: Reports to the DSS Manager and collaborates with the Director of Membership
Core Responsibilities: This role is essential in recruiting, identifying, and enrolling current and prospective participants in the DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) program within eligible BE GREAT Academy initiatives. Responsibilities include processing necessary documentation, managing participation timelines, and promoting program offerings to eligible participants.
Key Duties Include:
- Recruit and enroll eligible DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) recipients into designated BE GREAT Academy programs.
- Oversee documentation, participation schedules, and relevant submissions for all DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) participants.
- Identify potential candidates for the DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) program and assist them in the enrollment process.
- Promote BE GREAT Academy offerings to current and prospective DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) recipients.
- Maintain accurate participant records within the Membership Tracking System (MTS).
- Act as a liaison to the Department of Social Services (DSS) to enhance awareness and understanding of the benefits and availability of BE GREAT Academy programs.
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Education:
- Familiarity with the DSS SC Scholarship (ABC) voucher program and the Department of Social Services.
- A high school diploma with a minimum of three years of experience in customer service and account management; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.

- Exhibit a professional demeanor at all times.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, customer service, typing, and computer skills.
- Proficient in reading and writing in English and applying arithmetic skills for daily tasks.
- Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with management, colleagues, and clients.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledgeable in member retention strategies.
- Collaborate with parents to prevent disenrollment.
