Sales Growth Manager

About the RoleAs an accomplished sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by expanding our customer base in assigned territories. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting, qualifying, and developing a robust sales pipeline from inbound and outbound leads
- Confidently applying sales motions for new deals, expansions, and cross-sales
- Communicating the value of commercetools' solutions to C-level executives and other senior decision-makers
- Conducting discovery and executing on sales processes to uncover needs of mid-market and enterprise companies
- Developing strategic plans for your territory to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings and revenue objectives
- Setting up strategic account plans and executing outbounding motions successfully
- Timely and accurate updating of Salesforce.com CRM, forecasts, and pipeline data to ensure generation of accurate territory and management reports
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in SaaS or related direct application sales
- Excellent communication (interpersonal and presentation) and closing skills, with a proven track record of success in previous sales roles
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter mindset, independence, teamwork, and a structured approach to work
- A good understanding of sales performance metrics and a strong sense of urgency to deliver results
- The ability to develop and understand complex business processes and business models, as well as embody a consultative approach
- Comfort working remotely, creating meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and utilizing tools like Salesforce CRM, Hubspot, Google Suite, and sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or Force Management
- A proven outbound mentality and a demonstrated outbounding track record
- A partner-first mindset and strategic account management skills
