Patient Services Associate

Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Patient Access Services manager, the Patient Services Associate plays a crucial role in facilitating patient registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled appointments. This position involves accurately gathering demographic details, insurance information, and any known patient liabilities at the time of service. The individual will also perform financial clearance tasks for assigned scheduled accounts during the registration process.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Patient Services Associate will engage in various client service activities, including the collection of valuables and delivering essential customer service. This role requires a professional, friendly, and respectful demeanor to ensure positive interactions with patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in registration.
- Familiarity with the Epic system.
