Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Patient Access Services Manager, the Patient Services Associate plays a crucial role in facilitating the registration and arrival process for patients attending scheduled and unscheduled appointments. This position involves accurately gathering demographic details, insurance information, and any known patient liabilities at the time of service. Additionally, the Associate is tasked with performing financial clearance functions for assigned scheduled accounts during the registration process.

This role also encompasses various client service responsibilities, including the collection of valuables and delivering essential customer service. The Patient Services Associate is expected to greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner, thereby fostering positive interactions.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in registration.
  • Familiarity with the Epic system.
