Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Providence Service. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient registration and financial clearance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients during the registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits
  • Collect accurate demographic information, insurance information, and patient liability (if known) at the time of service
  • Complete financial clearance functions on assigned scheduled accounts during registration downtimes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner
  • Collaborate with the PAS manager to ensure efficient and effective patient registration processes

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or business office
  • Experience with insurance eligibility systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration
  • 1 year of knowledge of Epic applications
