Role Responsibilities:

The Employee Relations Intake Consultant will:

  • Handle incoming calls and perform case intake for 6-8 hours daily.
  • Provide guidance on general policy inquiries and facilitate resolutions for straightforward cases.
  • Recognize cases that need escalation and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Address basic inquiries and direct managers to appropriate Employee Relations resources.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in establishing rapport quickly, asking insightful questions, and taking comprehensive notes during conversations.
  • Effective time management skills to navigate a fast-paced call environment.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail in case management.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a call center environment, particularly in intake roles.
  • Familiarity with case management systems.
  • Background in Human Resources or Employee Relations.
Expectations:

The role involves:

  • Collecting information from a phone queue for 6-8 hours each day.
  • Completing intake forms and tracking documentation.
  • Setting up cases in the case management system.
  • Providing basic information and directing managers to the correct Employee Relations tools or resources.
  • Maintaining an expectation of approximately 15 minutes per intake.
