The Intake Coordinator/RBT oversees the administrative duties of the facility and provide RBT duties as assigned. This person is the first point of contact with whom the patient or customer interacts. They are responsible for moving the patients through the intake process. This representative is responsible for analyzing and documenting basic information of the patient such as name, address, date of birth, etc., for documenting insurance information. In addition, the Intake coordinator works with other administrative staff and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBAs) to provide continual communication and support to staff.

I. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Ensures that all admission forms are properly signed and filed
Answers and screens inquiry calls and emails from prospective clients
Collects data to help with the Intake process
Scheduling diagnostic evaluations and assessments by obtaining new client information
Communicate effectively between admin and clinical staff
Provide 15 hours of RBT duties
Provides services in home or clinic settings
Follows individual treatment plan written by the supervising BCBA
Utilize CentralReach practice management system to record, collect and maintain clinical data
Completes session documentation in a thorough and timely manner
Able to manage challenging behavior
Collaborates with BCBA, family and other community stakeholders under the direction of supervisor
Communicates any relevant information from sessions to the BCBA
Provides services in home or clinic settings

II. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years old and have at minimum completed high school or GED equivalent.
Holds certification as a "Registered" Behavior Technician (RBT) or has passed the required 40-hour RBT curriculum since June 15, 2020
Professional demeanor and a positive "can do" attitude
Must have excellent communication skills
Flexibility and able to adapt quickly based on circumstances
Excellent writing skills
Must have reliable transportation

III. COMPETENCIES

Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-volume role, show proficiency with computer programs which may include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications. Display a courteous and empathetic attitude to all customers. Have the ability to mult-task.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs. may also required.
