Overview:

As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries and conducting case intakes efficiently. Your role will involve:

  • Handling calls from a queue for 6-8 hours daily.
  • Providing guidance on general policy inquiries and resolving less complex cases.
  • Identifying cases that require escalation and ensuring proper documentation is completed.

Key Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Answer basic inquiries and direct managers to appropriate Employee Relations resources.
  • Complete intake forms and maintain trackers.
  • Set up cases in the case management system with an expectation of 15 minutes per intake.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong ability to build rapport quickly, ask insightful questions, and take comprehensive notes during calls.
  • Excellent time management skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding documentation, communication, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

Experience in:

  • Call center operations, particularly in intake processes.
  • Working with case management systems.
  • Human Resources or Employee Relations.
