About the Role

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to drive constant sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Understand and communicate our transportation and logistics solutions to customers, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Focus on key market segments, commodities, and modes of service, including TL, Dray, Intermodal, and Final Mile.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers at multiple levels, via regular calls and face-to-face visits.
  • Identify opportunities to further penetrate existing accounts by selling a comprehensive service portfolio.
  • Design and implement solutions to help customers solve their supply chain challenges.
  • Prepare pricing options and collaborate with pricing and operations teams to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of account metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and market developments, and communicate this knowledge to customers.
  • Travel regularly to meet with customers and attend industry events.
