Position Overview
The Administrative Coordinator for the Respiratory Therapy department plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the department manager. This position involves a variety of clerical, receptionist, and project-oriented tasks, all while maintaining a professional image in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in various organizational tasks and the preparation of analytical reports as needed.
- Manage office supplies and ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Oversee environmental and safety protocols within the unit.
- Lead special projects as assigned by the management team.
- Organize meetings and virtual conference calls, including taking minutes as required.
- Exhibit proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as email and internet platforms.
- Maintain employee records, confidential documents, and timekeeping systems.
- Track and manage due dates for staff requirements, including licenses, performance evaluations, and certifications.
- On behalf of supervisors, sign correspondence and various forms as authorized.
- Screen and manage all incoming correspondence, determining appropriate responses.
- Demonstrate the necessary professional, clinical, and technical skills relevant to the department.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of diverse administrative or secretarial experience.
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Management.

- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
