Job Overview

Position: HUMINT Targeting Specialist

Location: Washington, DC

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI polygraph


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive all-source HUMINT targeting assistance focused on critical target topics, ensuring that analytical and targeting initiatives align with established HUMINT requirements.
  • Direct analytical efforts to identify, support, or improve HUMINT collection operations and strategic planning.
  • Utilize a variety of analytical techniques to pinpoint essential nodes within networks and their connections to target subjects.
  • Integrate multi-INT resources to bolster targeting operations.
  • Investigate and evaluate potential targets for HUMINT collection using specialized targeting methodologies.
  • Create detailed Targeting Packages (TP) and utilize client systems to manage field-generated requests and monitor production progress.
  • Conduct analyses using critical intelligence databases, including Think Analyze Connect (TAC), Terrorist Identify Datamart Environment (TIDE), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) databases, Managed Attribution systems (MAS), Quantum Leap Intelligence Exchange (QLIXs), KaCHING, Palantir, and other investigative databases.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Certification from any of the following is required (or their Title 50 equivalent):
    • Fundamental HUMINT Targeting Course (FHTC)
    • Advanced HUMINT Targeting Course or Target Network Profiling Course (TNPC)
    • Operational HUMINT Targeting Course (OHTC)
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Prior HUMINT operational experience directly supporting or executing comprehensive strategic HUMINT operations is preferred.
  • Experience providing HUMINT support to Task Forces or Special Operations Forces is desirable.
  • Previous contributions to Strategic Foreign Intelligence Collection against Hard Target (non-CT) issues are preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph is required.
