Job Overview

AEVEX Aerospace is in search of skilled and mission-driven professionals for the role of Targeting Analyst. This position demands an active TS/SCI security clearance along with a Polygraph examination. Candidates should possess a profound understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC) and its strategic goals. Preference will be given to those with experience in managing or supporting Human Intelligence (HUMINT) operations or conducting comprehensive all-source intelligence analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Targeting Analyst is to analyze operational communications and various intelligence databases to generate actionable intelligence leads and facilitate operations. Analysts will review and interpret intelligence reports, including HUMINT, SIGINT, and other technical data, while also researching existing cases and assessments. They will draft detailed targeting and collection strategies, present findings to senior management, and offer operational guidance as necessary.

Successful candidates will collaborate effectively with clients and team members to research, assess, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources to produce comprehensive intelligence reports. Proficiency in various analytical techniques is essential, particularly in areas such as network analysis, relationship mapping, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methodologies. Analysts should be adept at delivering briefings to senior management, often with limited preparation time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supporting HUMINT operations or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence research and analysis
  • Exceptional critical thinking abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and sound operational judgment
  • Strong organizational, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Specialized Skills Officer (SSO)
  • Experience utilizing client-specific databases for monitoring and communication
  • International experience in supporting collection operations and information sharing, particularly in high-risk environments
  • Proficiency in foreign languages
