Job Overview

The role of the Product Marketing Assistant is crucial in supporting Product Managers and Sales teams in their efforts to enhance product line sales and profitability. This position is designed to manage essential tasks that enable Product Managers to effectively serve their internal clients, including sales managers and product managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process standard pricing and delivery inquiries from sales and product teams.
  • Manage supplier contract documentation, including loading, maintenance, and renewals.
  • Handle cross-reference requests from sales and Product Managers.
  • Coordinate sample requests efficiently.
  • Assist in part loading within the system.
  • Facilitate literature requests for sales support.
  • Manage supplier prints and specification inquiries.
  • Conduct distributor stock checks and part searches.
  • Become proficient in using the Quote Accelerator quoting tool.
  • Administer the opportunity tracker.
  • Provide backup support for Product Managers during their absence, ensuring coverage of major product lines.
  • Actively participate in supplier training sessions alongside the sales team.
  • Attend supplier training events when feasible.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with one to three months of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
  • Ability to report to the designated office location during scheduled workdays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet personal objectives.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to frequently stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential job functions. The role is primarily sedentary, with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions:

The work environment is typical of an office setting, with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
