ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Center for Justice Innovation is a nonprofit entity dedicated to enhancing equity and safety within communities and justice systems. With a workforce of approximately 900 and an annual budget of $100 million, the Center operates through three primary functions: implementing operational programs to test new concepts, conducting original research to evaluate effectiveness, and offering expert guidance to justice reform advocates globally.

Operational Programs

Our programs, such as the Red Hook Community Justice Center, are designed to explore innovative approaches to systemic issues within the justice framework. We focus on community-based initiatives that prevent violence, provide alternatives to incarceration, and support reentry efforts, all aimed at promoting positive changes in individuals and families.
