Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive strategic alliances and partnerships, as well as identify new revenue opportunities that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new revenue for Supermicro by partnering with technology companies to identify and close new opportunities.
  • Build partnerships from end to end, including managing contractual requirements, integrating Supermicro technology offerings into the marketplace, executing go-to-market strategies, monitoring opportunities, and reporting on progress.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships at multiple levels across all partner verticals to drive increased visibility and growth in partnerships.
  • Ensure that our partners' sales, technical, service, and management resources are effectively enabled to make the partnership successful.
  • Drive a joint partner business planning process to define mutual performance objectives, identify joint customer targets, and establish critical achievements.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and document standard processes for co-selling with partners.
  • Build and own the partner-sourced pipeline for all partners.
  • Ensure that training, enablement, and educational sessions are conducted for all partners.
  • Maintain reports on partner opportunities, pipeline status, and deals won.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related roles within the IT industry (Direct experience in Server / Storage / Enterprise / Cloud required), with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of IT industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a successful track record of closing complex partnership deals.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
What We Offer

A comprehensive benefits package, competitive salary range of $160,000 - $230,000, and opportunities for bonus and equity award programs.
