Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and customer development, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share.

About the Role:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure continued business growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and other means.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
