About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sysco's World Class Sales Team as a seasoned Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, Culinary Manager, or Chef seeking career growth. Our outside sales position involves promoting company products and services while building strong relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business opportunities, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to drive profitable sales growth and meet special objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects based on company account stratification goals.
  • Understand customer business needs and provide tailored solutions through our diverse product range.
  • Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitors' offerings; share valuable insights with customers to enhance their experience.
  • Provide expert advice on product usage, pricing, availability, and training to customer personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including meetings, calls, and correspondence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR HSD/GED and 3 years of relevant experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales.
  • Valid driver's license with a 'clean' driving record (no multiple DUIs within the last 2 years) and current automobile insurance with the following limits: Bodily injury - $100,000 each person and $300,000 each accident; property damage - $100,000.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English fluently, and basic PC skills with proficiency in MS Office.
