We are seeking a Microwave Test Engineer to create microwave testing protocols, design automated test equipment (ATE) stations, and assist in the qualification of new products. This position will encompass both design verification testing and acceptance level testing. The selected candidate will collaborate with a design development team for new products and support existing designs throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and troubleshoot RF test setups across various frequency bands (UHF, S-Band, X, Ka, or Ku) and the necessary support equipment to implement testing strategies.
  • Create automation software for engineering and production teams to interact with the Design Under Test (DUT), test apparatus, and instrumentation.
  • Analyze customer specifications to comprehend microwave testing requirements, leading to the formulation of an Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise custom test fixtures (such as switch matrices) to execute the RF testing plan.
  • Ensure the final test configuration accurately performs tests in accordance with the specified requirements.
  • Assist in new product qualification testing and the preparation of qualification reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, software), mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in RF testing and validation.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as LabVIEW is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Dedicated to personal excellence and upholding high corporate ethical standards.
  • Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Security Clearance.
