We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Electrical Component Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will engage collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams, providing essential technical guidance in the careful selection of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components for our state-of-the-art RF systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to deliver technical expertise in the selection of EEE components for RF systems and products.
  • Revise existing source control documentation, taking into account component availability, configuration control levels, and electronic specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and document control to identify new EEE components and produce updated source control documentation.
  • Exhibit proficiency in electronic component finishes, including die attach, wire bonding, solderability, tin whisker mitigation, and RoHS compliance.
  • Leverage knowledge of alternative sources for bare die and obsolete components.
  • Utilize expertise in packaged and bare die components, such as RF MMICs, PIN diodes, discrete components, passives, and integrated analog ICs.
  • Navigate various operational environments, including commercial, military, and space levels, with confidence.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with reliability standards, such as MIL-HDBK-217 and NAVSEA SD-18, among others.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Component or Electrical Engineer within a military or aerospace context.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain Security Clearance.
