POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources Strategic Partner is essential in enhancing the HR department's effectiveness across various functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a collaborative mindset, working alongside business leaders to comprehend their goals and devise HR strategies that align with the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, possess comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and labor laws, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to grasp their objectives and formulate HR strategies that support organizational aims.
  • Serve as a consultant to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to managers in addressing employee relations challenges, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts.
  • Quickly assess talent and workforce issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a top-notch experience.
  • Manage new hire documentation for payroll and employment tracking.
  • Assist managers in establishing performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and delivering constructive feedback.
  • Work with the talent acquisition team to meet staffing needs.
  • Plan and oversee initiatives that enhance workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Payroll Administrator.
  • Identify training and development requirements and coordinate relevant programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Lead HR initiatives such as performance assessments, employee engagement surveys, and talent development programs.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to pinpoint areas for enhancement and develop actionable plans.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of HR processes and practices.
  • Manage HR administrative tasks, including organizing HR events and conducting presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • (Preferred) SHRM certification (SHRM-CP).
  • Perform HR administrative duties while understanding the company's operational logistics.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong grasp of employee relations, performance management, and training and development practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications; experience with Workday is advantageous.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
