Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to enhance our client engagement efforts. Our organization offers competitive healthcare, dental, and vision benefits for employees and their families, along with a matching 401K plan, paid vacation, and medical leave, among various other perks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage consistently with prospects and clients through various communication channels including meetings, calls, emails, and networking events.
- Work towards achieving established sales targets and milestones throughout the fiscal year.
- Promote and sell Cybersecurity Services, Cloud Solutions, and Managed Services to enterprise-level organizations.
- Identify and propose cybersecurity solutions tailored to a diverse range of current and prospective clients.
- Conduct prospecting for new accounts for both the company and supported vendors.
- Facilitate attendance at marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and webinars.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Manage paperwork for the initiation and delivery of professional service engagements.
- Process purchase orders from initiation to sales order completion.
- Provide accurate sales and service forecasts to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the cybersecurity industry through educational workshops and professional publications.
- Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of the solutions and services offered.
- Establish and nurture relationships with current and potential clients across their organizations.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, developments, and competitive insights gathered through field activities.
- Coordinate with company staff to fulfill the requirements necessary to close sales.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience in selling advanced Cybersecurity Services, SaaS solutions, and Managed Services.
- A minimum of 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience, ideally within the IT infrastructure or cybersecurity sectors, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
- Established relationships within the cybersecurity market in Illinois.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and convert new clients.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is preferred.
