Overview

The Head of Front-End Operations is a pivotal role within PGA TOUR Superstore, dedicated to enhancing the customer journey through our Club Services Desk and Front-End experience. Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience at the store level. The Head of Front-End Operations will oversee the implementation of our Experience Game Plan, manage product conversion processes, and ensure the efficient handling of returns and checkouts while adhering to our Merchandise Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and supervise all Club Services and Front-End functions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the department, providing insights to the Sales and Service Manager to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a Starter (greeter) when not engaged in operational tasks, ensuring customers receive a warm welcome and assistance.
  • Communicate effectively by directing on-floor assignments and delivering specific training to associates.
  • Conduct weekly evaluations of department performance with the Sales and Service Manager to align tasks with team strengths.
  • Maintain a premier visual and stock presence in Front-End and Services areas to drive sales.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all Club Services and Front-End areas, equipment, and supplies.
  • Execute all Club Services and Front-End programs, promotions, and procedures consistently.
  • Perform basic club repair duties and manage customer orders and inquiries efficiently.
  • Uphold Loss Prevention policies to ensure inventory accuracy and workplace safety.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance in all operations.
  • Open and close the store as needed, managing cash handling and customer escalations.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate expectations clearly.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Accountability: Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Business Acumen: Quick learner with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Organization: Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead by example and uphold high customer service standards.

Education/Experience:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant retail experience.

Working Conditions:

This role requires standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.

Schedule:

Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
