Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Facilities and Workplace Services position is responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective operations of the real estate team. This includes managing the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage facilities vendors, incoming work orders, and COIs.
  • Manage conference center scheduling, license agreements, and related support services.
  • Manage emergency plans, floor warden program, and support Emergency Notification System team.
  • Manage organization sustainability initiatives.
  • Manage employee office and workstation moves and relocations, physical storage, and office and kitchen supplies.
  • Manage duties assigned by DVP of Unidos Properties.
  • Maintain the conference rooms and ensure common work areas are clean and organized.
Requirements
  • An associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • A combination of at least 10 years of experience as a facilities manager, property manager, and/or seasoned administrator in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
  • Facilities Management Professional designation or enrollment in FMP program upon hire.
  • Participation in IFMA Association and DC chapter upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) skills.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. Hispanic community, Hispanic nonprofit organizations, and the Hispanic market and consumer.
