Position Title: Building Engineer

Location: DC

Compensation: $40-42/hr

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a DC 3rd Class License.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Address tenant service requests promptly and efficiently, minimizing disruptions.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures for building operations.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Engage actively in emergency response protocols and participate in technical and safety training programs.
  • Utilize appropriate safety equipment and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Performance Metrics:

  • Comply with all safety procedures and the company Safety Plan.
  • Avoid unscheduled downtime through proactive maintenance.
  • Follow maintenance and testing schedules diligently.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship that is easy to maintain and minimizes future issues.
