Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Operations Manager will report directly to the Property Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the property’s aesthetic appeal, and managing service requests while adhering to budgetary constraints. The primary duties include:

  • Conducting hands-on maintenance and repairs for units and common areas.
  • Utilizing the service request tracking system effectively and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Supervising the maintenance team to ensure high standards of service and resident satisfaction.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the property to identify and rectify any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Training and mentoring the maintenance team on best practices and company standards.
  • Assisting in the preparation of units for new residents and ensuring readiness post-move-out.
  • Managing vendor relationships, including negotiations and scheduling for maintenance projects.
  • Implementing a preventative maintenance program to prolong the life of the property.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality service, and a proactive approach to property management. Experience in maintenance operations and a background in customer service are essential.
