Position Overview: We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations and maintenance planning in a dynamic environment. This role is crucial for organizing, coordinating, directing, and managing all contract functions between our organization and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full accountability for the successful execution of all contract elements.
  • Facilitate transition team activities to ensure a smooth phase-in of new contracts.
  • Prepare financial forecasts quarterly and provide monthly updates, ensuring compliance with contractual and financial objectives.
  • Lead a skilled team, ensuring a well-trained and disciplined workforce.
  • Oversee daily operations, scheduled maintenance, and manage IDIQ construction and renovation projects.
  • Evaluate project efficiency, controlling operational expenses while adhering to maintenance best practices and contractual obligations.
  • Provide administrative and technical guidance to staff in completing assignments.
  • Supervise the negotiation and administration of construction and renovation contracts.
  • Plan and delegate project tasks, determining maintenance priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and HR on staffing decisions.
  • Advise client facilities staff on operational matters and challenges.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, including HVAC, sanitation, and overall appearance.
  • Coordinate procurement of supplies and services, maintaining inventory control.
  • Maintain effective communication with architects, engineers, and contractors involved in major projects.
  • Keep accurate records and controls to ensure effective management and productivity.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees.
  • Maintain a robust safety program.
  • Ensure adherence to the business system by all administrative staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial building systems.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of facility operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to achieve mutually beneficial solutions with clients.
  • Experience working with diverse personnel, including skilled and unskilled labor.
  • Knowledge of office administration, plant management, budgeting, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency in Windows and MS Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve periodic physical activities such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
