Position Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled Locksmith Technician to join our team. This role is essential for the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of various locking mechanisms and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of standard locking systems and associated hardware.
  • Utilize key making machinery and software to create and manage keys, ensuring compliance with facility-wide lock and key policies.
  • Address emergency situations promptly to minimize disruptions to facility operations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, and lubrication of locks and door hardware.
  • Install commercial locking hardware such as doors, closers, exit devices, and mortise locks to enhance facility security.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic door operators and access control systems.
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and tools for locksmith operations.
  • Monitor and oversee the work of external contractors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years with a strong moral and ethical background.
  • Proficient mechanical and mathematical skills, with a solid understanding of lock components.
  • Ability to effectively use locksmith tools and equipment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required.
