Job Summary

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR compliance and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Help organize and file sensitive information securely and confidentially.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files.
  • Verify I-9 documentation and complete I-9 forms; track and initiate updates as required.
  • Assist in conducting regular internal audits of HR processes and records to ensure compliance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed, including data entry, scheduling, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Participate in HR meetings and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience in HR, compliance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
