Role Expectations:

Swift is seeking a Segment Lead for the North America Business Development team. This individual will possess a deep understanding of the security market dynamics, including competitive landscapes and key trends. The primary responsibility will be to convey this knowledge to key customers and assist them in aligning their mid to long-term strategies with Swift's trajectory. The Segment Lead will collaborate closely with strategy, product, and go-to-market teams while guiding account managers in their customer interactions.

This position is based in a hybrid work environment, requiring three days per week in the office. A critical aspect of this role is finding a candidate who is passionate about fostering deep engagement within our community. The position reports to the Head of North America Business Development and focuses on building client relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and promoting adoption across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities to drive business growth by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with primarily large accounts and/or executing large-scale initiatives.
  • Formulate strategies for significant sales accounts/initiatives to meet targeted sales objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Represent Swift and advocate for our products and services to expand our business by participating in regional fairs, forums, and meetings.
  • Collaborate with various divisions, commercial team managers, and members to deliver coordinated services and integrated solutions to assigned customers while providing internal feedback on market intelligence and product issues.

  • Communicates business strategies effectively in challenging situations; adapts communication style to maximize effectiveness in a multilingual environment; clarifies key corporate initiatives and messages while valuing diverse perspectives.
Qualifications:
  • University degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the payments and securities ecosystem, including at least 5 years in relationship management or consulting.
  • Prior knowledge of Swift or similar transaction technology/software companies.
  • Familiarity with correspondent banking.

The estimated salary range for this position is $182,560 to $339,040 USD, varying based on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunities contingent on personal and company performance.
