Position Summary

As a Marketing Strategy and Operations Consultant, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with clients to develop impactful marketing strategies and enhance operational efficiencies. Utilizing your extensive background in marketing strategy, strategic planning, and corporate strategy, you will work closely with clients to create comprehensive marketing plans that align with their business objectives.

Your skills in process design and enhancement will allow you to optimize operations and boost productivity. Your expertise in budget management and forecasting will ensure effective resource allocation to maximize return on investment. Furthermore, your understanding of organizational strategy will enable you to assist clients in building agile marketing teams that can drive sustained growth.

In this role, you will excel in managing cross-functional stakeholders, fostering collaboration across diverse teams to implement go-to-market strategies effectively. You will also be instrumental in resource management, identifying talent gaps, and developing strategies to attract and retain top marketing talent.

Through your strategic insights and operational expertise, you will empower clients to navigate complex market dynamics, capitalize on growth opportunities, and achieve a sustainable competitive edge. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver tangible results and help clients realize their full potential in the dynamic marketing landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish annual plans, objectives, and strategies for marketing organizations
  • Define collaborative processes across cross-functional teams (marketing, communications, product, creative, etc.)
  • Support marketing leadership with organizational strategy and design
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure accurate financial tracking
  • Develop investment cases and additional funding requests
  • Implement cross-functional processes and operating models
  • Define and monitor organizational objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the marketing leadership team and lead initiatives as required
Qualifications
  • Must reside in the New York City Metropolitan Area
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing strategy with a proven track record
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or agency roles
  • Experience in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with business goals
